Sunray Shadow

The Sun Ray Shadow is one of the most straightforward salmon flies but its simplicity belies its extraordinary effectiveness.   It can be fished at any stage of the season either normally or hitched.  Two pinholes on either side of the body allow it to be skated across the pool making otherwise docile salmon attack it with annoyance.  Probably the best ‘fish locator’ in the fly box.
