Dick's Conglomerate-Longtail

Who was Dick?   We suspect this fly originated in the US/Canada and was just one of those Salmon flies that was created on a home fly-tying bench, whose subsequent success resulted in an established pattern.  With the tail of an Undertaker and employing universally good Salmon Fly pattern colours it is easy to see why it works.
