Dunkeld

This Sea Trout fly is a scaled down version of the famous Atlantic Salmon Fly pattern originating from Dunkeld on the River Tay in Perthshire, Scotland.  It made the transition to effective Sea Trout pattern although it used to come with a warning to be used with caution when fished in July in Scotland as it had a fearsome reputation for taking Salmon as well.
