Fjallkonan

Fjalkonan translates to "Lady of the Mountains" - The symbol of Iceland.  Blue is a particularly effective colour on Icelandic Rivers on account of the outstanding water clarity and blue green tinge.   Sometimes less is more and it may be the subtelty of this pattern that accounts for its success.
