Ally's Shrimp Black

Created by Alistair Gowans this fly pattern has proved to be one of the most successful flies for Atlantic Salmon. Initially gaining huge success in Scottish Rivers it is now used worldwide.  Wherever you fish you will want to have a selection of Ally's Shrimp or variations of it.  This fly is tied on very strong and robust partridge double hooks – especially suited for Norwegian and Russian Rivers or any location where you may expect to encounter large Salmon.
