The Shadow Shrimp Salmon Fly is a favourite on the Russian Rivers of the Kola Peninsula.   These are tied on extra strong Partridge doubles to cope with the very biggest of Atlantic Salmon as well as being able to withstand a few knocks from wayward casts.
