Golden Killer

Salmon flies do not have to be complicated to be exceptionally effective and the Golden Killer is without doubt in that category. One of the all-time top flies for summer fishing on the Varzina River in Russia’s Kola Peninsula. It works well on all the Northern Rivers and is a great fly for July and later on in the season. Do not be put off by the single hook, the Alec Jackson single is strong and has accounted for any number of good sized fish.
