Created by Gisli Asgeirsson from Iceland. A very popular midsummer and autumn fly. A very nice variation of the typical blue/black theme of Icelandic flies; using UNI blue tinsel for body. Tied on various hooks and tubes, such as ½” – 1” coneheads; but the standard double in sizes #10-14 are the most popular.
